Interpreting Photographic Series | Series 5
This series of four photographs shows the interior of the GWG factory, although clearly not the same factory as in the wartime images above, as it is much more modern. The GWG logo can be seen on the pants being sewn in the first image. The workstations in this factory are independent of one another, not on an assembly line as in the first series. Each photo shows a different specialized machine, suggesting greater automation than in the first series. Unfortunately, the end use for these photos has not been determined.
